In 1999, I entered the world of freelance journalism driven by my love of words, people and inquisitive (some might say nosy) nature. I began earning a crust on medical trade titles before being approached by The Sun’s health editor in the mid-noughties to work trial news shifts for the paper. That two-day stint quickly turned into 12 years + of providing section editor holiday cover across the health news and features desks. Today, I freelance for several national newspapers including The Sunday Times, as well as trade publications like The Grocer. I also provide editorial consultancy and commercial copywriting services.
