As a teenager, Dawn-Maria’s first job was as a comic-strip writer and artist for a London newspaper. Due to the popularity of her female-focussed comic-strip, she soon became the paper’s Northern reporter. Dawn-Maria has written for a host of publications: The Yorkshire Evening Post, Yorkshire Women’s Life Magazine, the Huffington Post, The Metro, and Yorkshire By-line and has contributed to The Voice, The London Evening Standard, We Are The City and many business-to-business titles. She is the author of the highly praised children’s book series, The Adventures of Jenny and Philip.

Ms France has interviewed celebrities and influential public figures, and she has written and contributed to Daily Mail, Daily Star, Huffington Post, The Metro, Evening Standard, The Boston Courier, and numerous business-to-business publications. She is the great-niece of Sir Joseph Nathaniel France, a distinguished St Kitts and Nevis politician and journalist.
